How to choose your tattoo needle cartridges?

When choosing your equipment, first distinguish its format, configuration and exact item code. The INKNATION Needles product pages present the four ranges RL, RS, M1 and RM in boxes of 20 cartridges.

Cartridge or traditional needle?

A cartridge groups the needles into a module with its casing. Traditional needles are another equipment format, with a different assembly. The word “needle” can also refer to the needles inside a cartridge, so it is not enough to identify the format being sold.

In the INKNATION catalogue, “box of 20 cartridges” specifies the sales format of the four ranges. This does not mean that a cartridge is compatible with every machine or grip. Check the item code and your equipment documentation before choosing.

The format does not define the configuration

The names RL, RS, M1 and RM identify the configurations offered in this cartridge format:

A single range includes several item codes. The configuration name alone does not specify the diameter, taper or all the product’s characteristics.

Compare the complete item code

Find the complete variant code, including the suffix. To replace an item you already use, compare the code on your packaging with the product selector. Do not automatically apply a diameter correspondence read for another range.
